Prompted by Woodrim's Novoflex thread, I tracked down a clip from The Sweeney (gritty 70s UK cop show) where Regan uses a Novoflex on a Nikon F/F2 with a Photomic type finder
See at 5 and 6 minutes in
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqwqJxP0h60

Anyone else spotted some fun kit on show? I guess everyone knows about the Beatles using Asahi Pentax SLRs.

Deeply bizarre. Especially with the early F body.

However, no other camera manufacturer invests that much in product placement as Nikon. Therefore you see very seldom any other camera in movies. I am always very excited when I see something else. Wink

Apparently so. Not sure which lens?

Fred Astaire plays a fashion photographer in Funny Face. Snapping Audrey Hepburn with a Rolleiflex TLR. My favourite photo moment is the upside-down over the head periscope shot. Can't find a clip for that I am afraid

Jack Nicholson used a fancy leica IIIa with VIDOM viewfinder in a couple of scenes from "Chinatown" (excellent movie, btw).
The lens must have been a 135 hektor, IIRC.

I believe that the reporter in Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is using an Argus rangefinder.
