Nice pictures. I owned one but sadly, I never thought it was that great... After a lot of different 135's, I settled on the Jena Sonnar 135/3.5.
Maybe I got a bad one... Did someone ever test it against the Zeiss ? |

One of the beaut little design features of this lens is its built in lens hood.
Yes, there are plenty of lenses with a built in sliding lens hood.
This one has a two piece hood which turns what could have been a token effort into a deep hood that actually works well.

Really NICE. Thes are available for quite inexpensive on the bay right now like 40-60 USD for a user grade. I just love topcor re glass. Too bad the mechanicals were not as well designed as pentax or olympus. I have the 100 2.8 and a couple of examples of the 35mm 2.8 and a 58mm 1.4 that has a stuck helical I can't seem to get apart. As far as opticals go (in my opinion) other than the 58 they are excellent glass for the price. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

Thanks Macca, it's been a while since I read their site, they do look similar, to the "RE Topcor" I wonder if there is any "RE Auto-Topcor" Navy lenses out there.
I'd love to see a comparison. including the formula diagram.
