A heavy chromed-brass prewar Exakta-mount lens. Beautifully finished, with nice glass.

Sometime ago I had carefully removed the lens blocks and fully cleaned out the near-solid organic (some say whale-oil based...) grease and re-greased with a light helical grease from Micro-Tools...so the focus action is very light, easy and smooth.

Most shots at or near f2.8 except where noted. No cropping...they were imported into Lightroom and auto-toned. Most of the shots were in fairly high contrast settings, so you can see how nicely these low contrast lenses preserve detail in the shadows.

I will work on making my copyright thingie less visible...it is annoying me but it's late and I am too lazy to redo!

#1 - here is the lens in question. I had a nice Series V lens hood on whilst shooting...really necessary for uncoated lenses.
