Anyone own or used this? Just bought one but can't find a single reference to it on here or google. I've found some F3.5 versions and lots of Vivitar but not the soligor f3.8.
Any information much appreciated

Hmmm....
Maybe a picture or two of the lens might help.
There are plenty of 70-150mm zooms around, and yours may be similar to one of those.
Is it a two ring zoom/focus design or a single ring push-pull zoom and focus design?

Hi OH, it's a single ring multicoated one touch zoom, CD auto lens.
I did find a few on the US ebay auctions but not a sausage here. I'll post some pics when it arrives.

I like Soligors, most of the ones I have are pretty decent lenses - not the best, but some are better than average. And it's generally the older ones that seem to be the best, the ones made by Tokina and Sun etc. The newer ones, like the one in the ebay sale you linked don't enjoy the reputation of the older ones, and I have never used that particular Soligor Zoom 3,8 70-150 so I can't say it's good bad or indifferent. But I would say that one listed is way overpriced. There's great lenses out there for a lot less than that one. A $200 lens should have a stellar reputation! _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

For £15, it's gonna be worth a try, certainly better than any $200 rip off. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....
