I have a new problem with my scanner.
Until this morning, I could scan anything at any resolution, without problem.
Now, it has started to abort when I try to scan at 4800 ppi.
I get this error message "unable to allocate memory".

I have tried to enlarge the memory dedicated to Photoshop, and I have opened wirtual memory spaces on all available drives. But it does not help.

What can I do? Crying or Very sad

I presume you have tried re-installing the driver for the scanner.

No, I didn't, because this usually leads to a mess with Windows.
I had past experiences where I needed to reinstall windows after a tentative of uninstall-reinstall of scanner driver.
Besides, the scanner works perfectly, so I don't think it's a problem of the driver, more likely instead of the managing software.
