Ah.. it's mint. mechanical and optically.

With both original caps.

Haven't more information. In ebay I can't find any now.

Again, Thanks.

Seems a little high.

I could be wrong though, as prices have been going up for them.

75-90 US$ is the usual price nowdays, in mint/very good condition. Is it S-M-C or SMC? :p

Value is based on rarity, demand, and ease of replacement.

Unless in throes of lens lust - and getting a true KEH mint - I'd be inclined to await a lower price. Keh currently has one such at $133 so I'd say your price is a good one.

But then, yeah, there's the market demand. Often you can get these cheaper if they come attached to a camera.

It's a SMC.

Seem to be a razonable price.

I will wait to middle of the month. The taxes must be paid in this time, and perhaps I can get a minor price.

Thanks guys.

Many Takumars are mint mechanically and optically (I have never seen a single one with stiff focusing, always silky smooth). I think this price is 1/4 lower than current average ebay price.

I paid US$78 for SMC Takumar 50/1.4 very recently at eBay,
since I was very curious about this lens which everyone in here
talks about. Yes, I used to own a very yellowed one which was
given to a friend of mine long ago.

Now I can say a thing about this SMC Takumar 50/1.4. Very Happy

kOJI

dO YOU LIKE MORE THE smc THAN THE PANCOLAR 50/1,8 ?

SEEM TO ME THAT OUR FRIENDS LIKE THE PANCOLAR MORE THAN LIKE

THE SMC, DON'T THEY? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT?

Rino this is a fair and good price
If it is truly mint take it for $60
The lens has the feel of a $500 zf planar
I'm not making performance claims but it feels like a real gem and is
I agree with no-x I have never seen a stiff or loose copy
QC was very high at the factory and shows today

estudleon: I have both S-M-C 50/1.4 end CZJ eMC 50/1.8 and I prefer S-M-C. Better multi-coating, silkier focusing, deep-bokeh at f/1.4 (I can't find the right words, I mean this ) and one more thing - maybe Pancolar is sligtly better corrected for CA, maybe it's slightly sharper under specific circumstances, but when compared to Takumar, it's results are kind of sterile - Takumar has much stronger "personality".

As always occur, you are fantastics, guys.

I will buy the SMC, it's preferable to have 2 excelents normals. Wink

Again, thanks, very very much.

Rino.
