OK, so this has taken longer than expected, but I finished the Lens Turbo II comparison shots:
Zhongyi Lens Turbo II with Minolta MC 58 mm & MD 50 mm lenses
The 50 mm MC Rokkor-PG f/1.4 didn't make it to the comparison because of the aperture problem, so I just went a little crazy and used my MD-II 50 mm f/1.2 instead

And there's probably one or two more articles going to appear in the coming weeks. The MD-III 50 f/1.4 is my new go-to lens, replacing the 50 f/2 from the same generation for most purposes. The f/1.4 may be a tiny bit softer in the center at f/2 than the 50 f/2, but the corners are sharper, there's less vignetting and it's a stop faster if you need it. Love the lens.
