Are you using a detachable QBM:EOS adapter, or the conversion kit where you remove the QBM bayonet and replace it with an EOS bayonet?
The conversion kit takes patience to fit, and you'll need one for each lens, but it gave good results when I was using QBM on EOS. |

What brand is it? From personal experience, fotga adapters most of the time i've used, were short of infinity focus, while fotodiox adapters always went slightly beyond infinity focus - which is much better than coming short of it. Myself, i'm using fotodiox QBM to EOS - and works fine with all 3 of my qbm lenses (rollei-hft planar 50/1.8, rollei-sl xenon 50/1.8 schneider-kreuznach, carl zeiss tele-tessar 135/4 hft). I get infinity focus with all 3 on my 6d. |

This isn't the exact model I used, but it's similar..

A proper mount adapter ring - that needs a screwdriver to install - will get a better fit when using QBM on EOS lenses.
(or just send them to me and I'll happily use them on Fuji X-series bodies alongside my own QBM lenses!) |

do you know any machinists that can shave off the extra space? file it down a little?
On amazon, fotodiox claims that inifinity focus is allowed:
http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Mount-Adapter-Rollei-Camera/dp/B008BBI7AK/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417636174&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=rollei+sl+to+eos
But in customers questions & answers section, a user reports that infinity is not allowed, not sure if he's talking from his personal experience, but he also refers to fotodiox page you mentioned. I'm sure that my copy does gets IF, but i will check, when i get home. |

OK, i have tested mine and i do have infinity focus with fotodiox adapter. There is a simple, non-destructive and completely reversible trick that you can do on your lens to adjust it for IF.

the front ring is too hard and i can't unscrew it
my hand was injured by the hard ring.
I let it how it is and i use 50 1.8 rollei with live-view.
I do focus at 1 meter before activating live-view _________________
