What the title says.
I need to offer some tlc to one of my Primarflex bodies; shutter (1"-1/1000") still works although slow speeds appear a bit lazy, but the film transport engagement process has become particularly difficult (a typical sign that disaster is approaching...); anyone who can recommend somebody brave enough to undertake this task?
Have tried locally to no avail (of course).

Nobody?
I was hoping for help/hints by our German forum members...

I know some repair companies which could possibly help: http://www.dresdner-kameras.de/service/service.html

I would call them up and ask them specifically about Primarflex.

Hello SVP,

I can help you out with at least one qualified Primarflex repair man. He did more than 10 Primarflex overhauls for me and my friend, for prewar and postwar cameras. I can highly recommend his work for his fair prices. There are some workshops reclaiming to repair Primarflex cameras in Germany but as far as I know some of them send their repairs to this specialist.

The only problem is, the technician is an older guy and has no internet connection, so contact is possible only in German and via phone. But if you need help I will do. The cameras to repair have to be complete because he has no spare parts, but he can offer new curtains and resilvered or recycled mirrors.

Please send private mail for more info.

Regards,
