I don't think I have ever seen a camera like this where every button and knob seems like an afterthought? Anyone else share that opinion - and what camera would you vote for?

I suspect the "built in flash" is actually the selenium meter window....

I rather like it - the camera of mad engineers! Like this one:

A Jaeger Le Coultre compass camera no less. Cool

I kind of like things that look so bad that a hog wouldn't eat it. Then drag it out where people are bragging about their high dollar crap and start telling how nice it is.

Why does the very complex camera remind me of A Tessina? I traded one of those in the 1960's or very early '70's for a Petri SLR and we both thought the other had probably done well!

The cam Puplet posted is kind of cool. The Samoca is one ugly eyesore
of a camera--looks like the engineers got drunk on a 3-day weekend and
decided to build a camera on Tuesday. LOL

Oh, I don't know. The Argus "brick" is worse (I have two of them). It is a clumsier shape.

That, or the Kodak 35 rangefinder version (the other one though is rather elegant - I have one of each).

That Argus takes the buiscuit, The other two although a nightmare to use I dont mind them so much I am a sucker for chrome! The Yashica Samurai I think needs to be up there somewhere plastic crap of the highest order.

The Polaroid Land camera I used to have at work takes some beating for being the ugliest (and clumsiest) camera I ever saw.

No, this is not homebuild. Those are first versions of Zenit Fotosaniper.

hehe I wonder if they would let you on a plane with that one. I cant really see any benefit to make a camera that looks like a handgun really. Rifles, ok. But a handgun? :p

In these days would you really carry the sniper around?? Sad

I can see a reason to use that photo-pistol - silent firearms training.

I think though that particular one looks like it was made as a novelty.

Gun-cameras were also used for air-combat training, among other things.

The Samurai was a good beautiful camera inj digital form , fit the hand so well it was scary - a triumph of form AND function!

The fotosniper should be dedicated to those folks at the department of homeland insecurity - it's old, ugly, and whilst it probably worked, there were so many better things to do! lol So, I give you The DHS Long Range anti terrorism device.. with a name like that the DHS would snap them up at thousands of bucks a time!

Come on, put yours up on e-bay and see? Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Nothing beats that original post - what a terrible piece of trash, it has absolutely no compensating virtues.

Amazingly, it went for $78 Shocked Only goes to show what people will pay for trash. If I didn't know better, I'd suspect it was made in a basement by mad uncle Ernie.
