I previously owned the Samyang and the Contax 1.4 beasts, but I found them a bit heavy in the bag. I sold them, but missed the 85mm focal length. Then I discovered the little Pancolar ! I could find one in great condition after a long search. Straight from the X-T1, which is a pleasure to use for manual lenses...
It's quite sharp from f/1.8 but not "surgical", perfect for portraits... The bokeh is perfection to my eyes, not too soft, not too harsh, and sometimes with a little bit of curvature. Colors are perfect.
