Umm, your focus is broke. Very Happy
I don't know if I could take only OOF shots for a week, I would need a few in focus parts every once in a while.

Thank you, bernhardas. It is flattering to know I have inspired you with one of my photos. I have seen a thread before that was for blurred images, but it had a short life. I rather like some of them, although it can be difficult to get across that it was intent. I hope this thread lives on longer. May I play too? It is your thread, so your rules; must there be nothing at all in focus or can there be some insignificant point in focus as with my earlier shot?

Nice idea. I recently also made a bokeh only.

Interesting experiment. I may give this a try. I have been thinking about how to approach all of those Christmas decorations going up.

I like the thread A LOT, and I am very grateful for your kind comments! It's very very nice to hear my photos had a positive impact. Smile

Like your images too, a nice Monet feel to it. Great contributions from the others in the thread too Smile

EDIT: Let's go the whole nine yards:

And more pictorial:

Merry Xmas

(I actually only did these ones to compare f/2.0 to f/2.2 on the Komura 135 f/2 - f/2.0 is not nearly as pretty, below)

Very artistic, bernhardas. The photos capture enough detail to recognize the subject matter, but simplify it
to create an abstract look. Look like paintings, I like them very much.

Maybe I will try this, but now I am packing for travel.

The last 3 are very expressive, Bernhardas.
The second is like a faded remembering of an useless life and the third looks like the shadow of Death passing through a supermarket.
Both are a little frightening to me, like the Expressionist paintings.
There is more than the plasticity of the bokeh in them. You succeed to use the bokeh to tell a story and express an attitude. If they were sharp pictures they'll have no expressive power.
Congrats, Bernhardas!
