Corners are a little smudgy on FF, but the lens is a nice built piece Wink

Any idea to whom the production was trusted?

I vote Kowa, smells more like them, but its going to be difficult to pin it down.
Very nice rare piece.

Does have some similarity to my Komura 3.5/135:

But I still think it's a Kowa.

There is no info on the WWW for any 3.5/35 made by Kowa. The Kowa Prominar 2.8/35( http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/5865425 ) is extreme rare. I check the Komura/Kyoei 3.5/35 and found they seems have bigger front element. So, I am not sure if it is made by Komura/Kyoei. Smile

Just with one difference: the price. A 35mm Leica is about 10 times as expensive.
But then for a little more than twice the price of the Soligor you can find a Voigtländer Ultron 1.7/35.
I don't know if the Soligor is as good, but the Ultron is a lot faster. Wink

Good point Carsten, but the Soligor is a nicer "collectors lens" Wink

I think the ultra-rare dark cloth bag alone justifies the price of Plasmat Wink
