Enna Tele-Ennalyt 90mm F2.8 on Sony A7

Four elements Ernostar type lens made in the late 1950s to early 1960s. It takes 52mm filter and focus down to 0.7m.

At F2.8, this lens shows decent to good resolution at center with relatively low contrast. The sharpness improves at F4. The resolution at edges becomes OK at F5.6. The flare resistant is OK to my standard but I a hood is recommend when there is a strong light source.

Photos are converted in Adobe Lightroom . To ensure the results are as comparable as the old photos taken by NEX 5N, I used the same setting in Lightroom with the standard standard profile from http://www.piraccini.net/ . All photos are resized from 6000x4000 to 3000x2000. No extra sharpen is applied except the default sharpen in Lightroom.

Very nice Calvin, so you have the later, 4 lens design version, not the earlier triplet design.
(the first images seems to be be a bit overexposed on my monitor (?) )

Do you mean the early 90/2.8(with SN starts with 3 and larger zebra strip) is a triplet? There exist a Ennalyt 90/3.5 made for King Regula which is also a 4/4 design.

Good to see you have the 100mm too. I don't know the early 90/2.8 are triplets as I never own one.

I saw a copy of the 100/2.8 in Exakta mount in the past. It might be only produced for a small patch before the production of the new 90/2.8.
