The Moon detail shot is a mosaic made from several 5D Mark II videos.
Here the full picture:
The Jupiter shot is made from a 40D video captured via EOS Camera Movie Record.
The nearly full moon is stacked from several still exposures with a 40D.
Single exposure moon (ancient 6MP EOS D60):
