So I recently realised just how important colour in a photo is to me, and that I should be braver in showing photos that I enjoy, but others may think simplistic. Smile

I took some shots a while ago with a nice zebra Tessar, and was pleasantly surprised by the tree/sky relationship. I enhanced the blue a little bit, but not much:

Blue sky, I remember that. Rolling Eyes

I like a lens that does nice skies.

Some lenses do make the blue skies just pop.
Feel free to post more simplistic shots. Smile
The blue saturation may be a bit over done, but works well enough in these shots.

Thanks, I will. Smile

The unedited sky wasn't that far off this colour actually. It was an amazing day.

I'm a big fan of Pete Turner, and he wasn't scared to push colours a bit, ahem...

I like the bright blue - It conveys joy and happiness. The yellow leaves are very nice too.

It is not the lens, it is the right light (spring and autumn), about any (non yellowed/browned) lens can do that then .... Wink

Those are just wonderful Very Happy

Compare that o the current trend of dreary desaturated films.

It seemed like a real epiphany, yet it's so obvious Wink

Thanks Rudolf! I agree too, color is a very important part of my work
