I'm collector of Carl Zeiss lenses. I thought "15x" serial is just ZF/ZE version, but some guy have Contax MMJ version with that serial.



Why so DIFFICULT for finding serial 15x Contax Carl Zeiss 50 1.4 MMJ ? Is that the final serial number Contax version ?

There should be a few more out there. However it might only be a small batch with 15*.

Any pictures of your collection?

Nope, I found it on internet. I'm looking for a copy with 15x serial, too.

I don't think that 15.xxx.xxx would optically be different then a 68x.xxx or 7xx.xxx Lens - MMJ is MMJ....but i'm sure you'll pay much more for a higher number....so it's just a mind thing...
