Hello.
I'm new here and this is my first topic Very Happy
Recently I bought Helios 40-2 and these photos are from testing it on my Pentax K30 Smile

All photos are f1.5 :











this is iso1600, 1/80 (handheld) Very Happy

Old one but I don't know from which year.
Serial is 861992 Very Happy Is it '86?

yes , made in 1986 , not valid for all Russian lenses, I think valid for this one.

Nice shots, especially the potrait. To me the swirly bokeh of the Helios 40-2 is most effective when it's swirling around a person, but that's just my preference.

Good shots with very nice effect. Some people don't like the swirley bokeh but I do and I think it is very artistic.

I have a 40-2 as well and mine was made in 1984 and I do get some nice renditions from it.
