I've had an older zebra Pancolar 1.8/50 for a couple of years, good lens, but nothing to make it stand out. This copy however rivals the very best lenses I have tried.

Cheers. I really like it so it's going to get plenty of use on my a850. Smile

Cheers guys.

Dave, the zebra version in Exakta is in great shape, you are most welcome to borrow it and see if it is what you want. Exakta don't fit a850, so I won't be needing it again.

Nice lens and photos. I have the zebra version, but I haven't used it very much because the aperture does not close down all of the way. Do you have a photo of your MC version to show?

Wonderful! Smile I have a zebra version that's pretty good, better than most normal lenses I've tried. Would love to be able use it on full frame digital one day. Smile

Nice results. Some horse images (13-14) pop out of my screen!

This is my version - is the electric the same as the auto optically?

My lens is the same as Ed's BTW.

Is this the last of the M42 models?
