I'm quite happy with my Leica version.

Good examples of what this lens can do.It is a very good contender on the Sony A7 as well.Francotirador, have you converted your 35-70/3.5 MD to Canon EF?

Can you show your EF conversion?
Anyone knows how it compares to the Nikkor 35-70 f3.5 ai or ais?

Yes, I have changed the mount. I used one from a 35-80.

The conversion is easy. The new mount should have a thickness of 1.72 mm and has to do a 1.8 mm hoop to sustain the diaphragm ring

This lens is mighty sharp. It's a great lens in the 35-70 focal length, on the Nex and A7.

I am not so experienced with this lens yet, but I really like the kind of depth it generates. Not by shallow DOF, just natural.
