is this lens supposed to have an aperture ?
I just saw a lens similar to this and noticed the marking 5.6-8-11-16 but no iris movement when I turned from 5.6 to 8.
It was also stuck there, it could not move further.
How much is normally this lens sold ? _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/oom_tommy |

Sadly Cooke lenses of this time seem to have a common weakness in that the aperture mechanism is prone to jam.
I have a Cooke Triplet stuck in this way. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
