A long time since I saw some Orestor pics here. Fantastic lens IMO!

Beautiful captures, all of them. I like the separation of the little dog from the background, it really pops!

I knew that lens shines like a diamond. Finally I have managed to get one. Certainly not a cheap lens, but worth any cent of it. I am waiting for the adapter to put it on my Fuji X Pro-1. I hope it does not take it the entire summer to get from China in here.
Great photos. I love the last one.

Thank you guys! And not to mentioned it`s size. It is a compact and nice short tele even on a A7 series camera.

Well, as I also have it (since long) and shot with it a while ago, let me contribute some of my results.
Full album is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/kds315/sets/72157648029908525

Great lens it is IMHO, seemingly a sleeper...

Wow klaus, beautiful results!
(Flowerking shows his magic)

I kind of forgot how good this lens really is as it has been on my shelf a few years. Or not just good, but fantastic IMO! Very Happy

Really nice photos, by everyone.
I have the Pentacon 2.8/100mm which is related to the Meyer. I like it very much, but I would like to buy
the Meyer lens one day.

The prices on Ebay are rather insane nowadays for this lens....
I am almost shocked.
I rather should sell my copy. I don't use it anyway as I neither like bubbles nor donuts. Wink

is 100-150 usd insane for an excellent portrait lens? May you confuse it with Trioplan 100.

No. I've seen Orestors for $ 300 on ebay and that is insane. I think I've paid something like $ 30 for my copy some years ago. Unfortunately the aperture is faulty (the common problem with the old lubricant) and I don't know somebody who is able to CLA it.
Do you know somebody in Budapest? I will go there anyway in the foreseeable future to meet some friends.
Actually it's a pity as my copy is in a like new condition.

300 usd is insane indeed, I think just a lucky hunter asking price, yes you can fix it here , you able to send with postal service as well I will give you contact to repair man.

Thanks, Attila. Please send PM. My wife speaks native Magyar so the communication shouldn't be a problem. Wink

Captured with the Sony A6000! The tiny Orestor min. focus distance is 1,10m, and the little lizard was approx. 10cm long! So I had to crop the image. I must say, that the old glass from 1966 works very well on the A6000!

A very good lens even compared to top modern glass!

Nice shots in this thread Smile I have this lens as the Pentacon 100/2.8, but I want a preset one!
