So my uncle gave me his Yashica AF 28-85mm f/3.5-4.5. It's also capable of macro. I wanted to try it out on my modern Sony a57 but I realized something: Doesn't have a ring to control the aperture. Is this true? Well, it IS an AF lens... Anyways, how does it perform? Can you give me sample photos taken with it or information about its sharpness and performance? Thanks!

You can't use that lens on anything other than a Yashica AF film body. Those are available very cheaply on ebay, they weren't sold for very long and weren't a success.
