Third roll of this film and I like it. Colours are accurate, however I don't think it's any less grainy than a good 200 sped film.

This lens continues to impress me, rapidly becoming one of my favourites, the macro feature works very well.

Cheers Renato, the lens has the typical 'Minolta Colours'. Both of those shots were using the macro function.

This is the film I used:

Well I bought 40 rolls of OOD Kodak Gold 100 cheap last year and I can't remember if I've taken any shots with it yet Rolling Eyes Anyway nice to know it gives very good results.

Some great results there Ian, which show off the qualities of both the film and the lens. I have come to love my Minolta AF lenses.

Ian, you've made impossible! You've changed my mind about this cheap Kodak Gold. Impressive, well-balanced colors!
Fantastic sharpness and DOF for a zoom lens btw.

Thanks guys. The light was so-so for this series, cloudy, so I'm impressed the results aren't flat, which I attribute to the lens and it's coatings.

This is the lens:

It's very common and very cheap, mine was 22ukp, hard to find fault with it at that price.

Here's the two other rolls of Kodak Gold 100 I've shot, different lenses, different weather conditions, but still worked nicely:
