Zeiss Lamegon 38mm vs Kinoptik Apochromat 32mm

Just an unfair subjective comparison, esp. since the Kinoptik was used fully open and shot at different days with different light. Nevertheless, it tells me something... (identical camera Lumix GH1 and image processing)

Btw. that 38mm Zeiss Lamegon seems to be a modified (simplified?) 38mm Biogon lens...

Image sequence is first Zeiss Lamegon - second Kinoptik Apochromat

What say ye, experts?

Thanks Suat, indeed great lenses these are, but I was most impressed by the Lamegon.
Here is another thread about it: http://forum.mflenses.com/a-walk-around-deidesheim-germany-t68771.html

And according to one Kinoptic datasheet from the 1990es or so, the 32mm only has an image circle of 31,3mm, so no wonder that the outer bits suffer.

When used on my Lumix with 21mm sensor size (as above), that should be pretty well covered then by a 31mm image circle, right? Wink

absolutely sufficient for 21mm, (- provided it is not confused with the 32mm Kinoptic "Erax" which has a 16mm circle). I assumed it had been used on a FFsensor.

Stunning performance by both!
Indeed, the performance of the Lamegon and how well it holds itself against the Kinoptik is a nice surprise.

Thanks Spyros, indeed it is and it hasn't disappointed me since then!
