This image was shot using my D700, 50mm f/1.4 AI'd Nikkor (reversed) and PB-6 bellows in a home made light tent. I believe the ISO was set at 400 and the bellows extension around 110mm. The magnification on the sensor was around 3x. Light came from 3 strobes; one to each side and one from above. Even at f/16, the depth of field was probably at most a millimeter.

Nice shot! To overcome that DOF, stacking would do.
