Please help me with my Helios. I can not understand why the infrared marks are in diferent sides in my two helios. Thanks.

Edit: I'm changing my post, after thinking about it and doing some searching online....
I think that your 44M-4 is incorrectly marked, it should be on the side that the infinity mark can reach or the lens would be useless for IR at infinity.
After checking many versions of the 44M's, it's the only one like that, so IMO it's a printing error.

The lens on the left has the IR mark in the wrong place simple as that. Perhaps the scale was copied from a lens that focused the other way round. A design fault I'd say

Thank you for your replies. I agree with philslizzy, the lens on the left has the IR mark in the wrong place. But for me is a surprise that things like this this happened at KMZ. And perhaps another mistake by the quality control. Or perhaps they allow this wrong lenses to go to the national soviet market but they were banned for export. I am proposing this hypothesis because I was searching the web and I was able to find another Helios with the wrong IR mark but only with ciliric script. I was not able to find a single Helios with the wrong IR mark with latin script. See for example,
