Vivitar 35-70mm f3.5-4.8 Macro Zoom

Anyone used this, I just picked up a cheap example in good nick but can't find out anything about it and i won't get it till next week.

I have the Vivitar 24-70 and it is a more complex design than the 35-70.
It is a great lens.
Extrapolating is dangerous, I know, but the smaller zoom range on yours should usually give better optical results.
Here is mine and it is made by Cosina - not highly regarded among Kiron, Komine and Tokina Vivitars - and yet it is very good indeed.
Unless yours has been dropped or damaged it will be OK.
Definitely not crap.
