Hi, managed to pick up a Takumar 200mm 3.5 preset which arrived last Saturday.

Was busy and weather has been bit dismal here in London so the first few shots with it i was disappointed and considered sending it back.

This afternoon i managed to get over the park for a short while with the wife.

The light was better and managed to get a couple of shots before she realised that is why i suggested a walk in the park Smile

here are the results

Taken with X-E2 @3.5

I have just picked up a Tak SMC 135MM F2.5, can't wait till that arrives Smile

I bet you're glad you didn't send it back, they are lovely pictures from a nice lens.

Spectacular lens.
Wait until you have used it more and come to know its strengths.
You will get better and better results.
Thanks for sharing these

the lens looks very good.

And I noticed that your wife looks distinctly happier than the squirrel.

So you are still in the "tolerated" hobby zone, which is very important!

Should you ever come to the point where the squirrel looks happier, you might have to scale back purchases.

I have this lens. Not easy to use as it is heavy and focusing is long ( you really have to turn this barrel ! )
But the result can be incredible with a good light.
I use it on my Panasonic G3 but I am thinking of buying a Sony A 7r . I am excited what could be the result.

Just noticed that my images from first post are not showing, any ideas why this might be?

thanks

Well, a lot can happen in a year between visits.
There was a server problem that caused some losses to the forum. Most was retrieved, but some images were lost. If you still have them and would like to re-post, it would be appreciated.
