Hi,

today the whole family had the chance to see or new dog. We got an invitation from the breeder to visit her and to see the today 19 days old 10 dog puppies. My son decided to get a male dog (Golden Retriever). Beginning today we will visit every week the dog and mid of June (when he will be 8 weeks old) he can move into our house.

If I have a chance to take some pictures in the future I will post these here in this thread. Today below 2 shots with D800 and Nikkor 2.8/28mm AIS

If it would be possible to create a "bonzai" dog breed i would surely have one like on the #2 , beautiful picture and lovely dog.
I prefer small ones..

My kids grew up with one of these - you could not find a more kid friendly dog than a lab. Ours is long gone now, but his 15 years were a treasure trove for the girls, who still get weepy-eyed at the mention of his name

Today we had the chance to visit the breeder again to see the progress of the dogs. They are now 3 1/2 weeks old.

My son decided to name him ARKO, so here 2 new portrait shots with NEX-7 and kit lens (without flash)

and here a shot of his 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Yesterday they got the first time a special whelps milk.

Next visit Saturday afternoon.

What a cute little puppy!
As soon as you have him home he grows stunning fast to his final size Crying or Very sad
When my Shadow came in 2006 I decided to buy a DSLR, because the compacts of that days were not fast enough to make decent pictures, unless he was sleeping.

Seems that he likes leather a lot.
Hide shoes, lenses boxes, cameras... Wink

He is very cute and handsome. I'm sure he makes all family smile and laugh.
It'll be hard to be rude with him to make him obey orders. Confused

if you want him to become a photogenic dog, you should give him the best camera strap from the beginning, instead of this cheap dog leash
