I have a Konica Hexanon AR 2.8/24 f22 version with a 'slipping' focusing ring. I don't know how else to explain it. As I focus the lens it shifts as if there is no resistance and then carries on focusing as normal.
Can someone tell me what the problem is and is this something I can easily repair myself?
Thanks.

Iam not a specialist in Konica lenses but I believe there are (some) screws which connect the focussing ring to the inner barrell - probably they became loose.
You just have to remove the front ring to access these screws and tight them gently.

best regards Timo

Thanks Timo, I'll have a go.

In the end it was straightforward to fix. As Timo suggested, I unscrewed the front name ring and behind this are three screws. Remove these to release the focusing ring and behind this are three more screws which had become loose. I tightened these and reassembled the lens and now it's functioning properly.

Cheers Timo! Thank you!
