Vivitar 24mm f2 stuck blades

Hello everybody. My Vivitar 24mm f2 has stuck blades. So I wanted to fix it since many have already done it. I removed the front element and the three screws like in second picture in http://www.ahayesphoto.com/kiron24takeapart/index.htm. But it seems that I can't remove the black plate which will give me access to the blades. Can anyone help or propose something? Thanks.

Well, you have to remove the focus helicoid and then unscrew three small screws from the side holes! Now I have a working Vivitar 24mm f2!
