Nice ones, worth to process them well to show full potential, this lens never made to P6 even if looks big , exists only in m42 and Praktica B version. I especially like 'flair' shoot , great work!

Of course there are P6 to Nikon adapters that work very well as the images show.
Interesting that this particular lens has such a hazy history.
I really like your images and especially the second.
Would love to meet model number 2 - beautiful.
The flare really complements this image somehow.

I like the stunning quality of the lens when no flare is present, and the fact that the flare can be very well controlled by the angle to the light.

Thanks that you like the shot! Very Happy

The "Model" is actually the owner of a label for quite successful costume jewellery.

It was a lot of fun to take the pictures and she can have a graet Model face and expression however like all "normal" people she does not hold a pose very well for sufficient time and gets distracted by conversation easily. I really appreciate when I shoot with paid professional Models that they seem to be able to "freeze" a given pose and not be distracted by anything or anyone.

True enough.

Tell her from me though - she's hot.

this is the lens with mount adapter

This is the mount. After looking closely I noticed that the metal of the mount does look different in color. The mount does look professional or factory made specially on the inside.

I use the Fotodiox P6 to Nikon mount adapter.

I am quite new to the East German lenses and I was under the impression that this might have been offered in m42 and P6 like the Meyer lenses. So I thought nothing of it when I bid for it P6 is easier for me than M42.

That lens is the Sonnar 180mm F2.8, not the Sonnar 200mm F2.8!

Sonnar 180mm - for P6, Exakta and Praktica
Sonnar 200mm - only for Praktica
