I saw a lonely rose at the entry of the garden.
Light was good, so I took the 5D MkII with Angenieux 35-70mm f3.3-3.5 mounted.
Distance 0.45m to 0.50m. Iso 200, F4 1/125".

I first set the camera on B&W, then on colour.

#1

Crop 100%

#2

I love how this lens manages to be sharp and gentle at the same time. Beautiful transitions!

Thank you Pontus for your comment.

Effectively, Angenieux retrofocus zooms are reknowned for what you stress.

Hello Rolf !

Everything's Under control here. I hope you too.

Hello Poilu, that's also a great pleasure to read you. Very Happy
How are things going on in Greece ?

I agree with you about the first one.
It aslo was the first I shot, direct in B&W. I "felt" it this way and found quickly this composition, wich I agree is the best.
