Just for fun. An auxiliary wide angle with the front element reversed, mounted on a Miranda 1.9/50 lens. Quite interesting how abruptly the swirl transitions into a sort of zoom-blur effect.

Seems that you've made lens that behaves as petzval lenses with busy backrounds at the large format. Smile

This lens was made from the front section of a Nikkor-O 55/1.2 (rear glass missing) and the rear half of a Leica 5cm F1.5 Summarit- both parts lenses missing glass.

Wide-open on the Olympus EP2.

@ Mos6502 That bike photo looks pretty cool!

Earlier today I was experimenting with a Cyclop 85mm f\1.2 with the rear element removed and I also noticed a similar effect.
