This is my favorite lens.
If you have the opportunity to purchase it, don't hesitate, you will not regret it !!!
I have two Razz Twisted Evil

is a large, very large lens and is impressive

all images are made by F between 2.8 -4

Very nice pictures, I have two also, one silver Jupiter 6 and the black Jupiter 6-2. Built like a tank. Even the Helios 40 looks small compared to this lens Wink

Great lens and great samples, I have the silver M39 version and it's in every aspect an incredible lens!

in the case of self-defense, you can even use it as a weapon. Twisted Evil
and you won 't hurt it. Is built like a tank.

The bokeh isn't bad, but it's soft even at those small sizes.

I'm not agree, this lens is incredible sharp (even wide open), at least my exemplar....
100% crop wide open, without any PP & without any sharpening of course:

It's fine to not agree as everyone has their own interpretation of what is acceptably sharp, but I find the images from the OP to be quite soft.

It's all about resize & sharpening algorithm. Jupiter is darn sharp lens wide-open. Bright summer sun:

for me sharpness is not the most determining factor for the quality of the lens, even though Jupiter is sharp.
We all know that MF lenses are not used for the 100% cut , but because of nostalgia and .......

this time Jupiter 6-2 180mm 2.8 coupled with Lens turbo!
im very very satisfied with the result .

aperture was set somewhere between 2.8 and 4!
