Not a common lens, but very light and easy to carry.
Results are quite good I think.

Theres one of these in a pawn shop near me. I looked at it and it looks and feels a bit cheap to me so I've passed it by. Looks promising judging by your photos.

But them how many zoom lenses do i need? I dont think I use any these days (for amateur work) apart from the Minolta 35-70 3.5 macro.

exists in af, soligor, etc whatever brand

Not sure it is the same glass though, but -6.7 is pretty telling

55 filter iirc

Soft from 200 up on 10mpix apsc, otherwise acceptable at f8 f9
Needs a lot of light, cheap tele

100% crop?

As I said, I am not even sure it is the same glass. the AF version also looks quite a bit different

Serial number 09532802 - so maybe a Cosina lens if made in the period when these serial numbers had meaning. I think it is a later lens though so that may be meaningless.
Here is a 100% crop - not too shabby at all ............

That looks really sharp. Quite impressive.
Is it also sharp with long distance 300 ?

Not as good as close up, but still not bad.
