Some low power microscope objectives

Hi all,

I picked up some microscope objectives over the years and I think they could be used on a digital rangefinder camera, or a micro 4/3 camera as a macro lens.

I mounted one of the objectives on a DIY adaptor ring that can be adjusted for easier focusing. Here is a quick shot with an Olympus EPL-2 with that 3.5x Leitz objective. I think this lens is quite usable. These objectives are very tiny and light to carry around for a field shot.

Cheers,

Juicy photo!. Pretty good DOF for a fixed aperture lens.

I have a 4x objective, I may get it to work on my nex via a c-mount adapter...

I made a DIY adaptor for these objectives. The image was shot with a Leitz 3.5x 1K objective. I think it is quite good.

I made one, my 4x is very soft, but I get full frame on the NEX. I used a bodycap and a piece of water pipe connector as a focusing helical. I get infinity to 6 inches. I'll post some photos...
