Today I finally got the M42 adapter to canon fd (canon mount converter P).
First I connected Pancolar 80mm 1.8 with Canon FD 2x-B teleconverter.
So i got now Pancolar 160mm Razz Twisted Evil
with the results I'm pretty happy, it looks like those canon fd teleconverters are really good.

from min. focus to 5m pictures are great and there is no noticeable drop in image quality.
but at infinity picture quality drops significantly .

Yep, 2xB is a very good converter, I didn't notice the degradation near infinity though (see this thread)

Perhaps the issue is that focusing needs to be more precise since you are now having a 160mm lens.

Canon FD 200mm F4 @ f8. The distance to the target is about 0.5 km.

Canon FD 200mm F4 @ f8 + Canon 2xB
