...I'm surprised you didn't add 'on a quick lunch time stroll' that's some travel the Agfa and Portra did. Excellent results, really good clarity and color. Due to the subject matter I like Hercules and the other SF boats best, but the final fountain shows off the camera and your technique really well. _________________ -Jussi

It was quite a trip, I'll admit. The first, and possibly the last, time work will send me right around the world. I travelled light... not! The K20D, an LX and an MX, and the Agfa, plus lenses and a tripod.
Thanks for the nice comments. I'm very pleased with the Agfa, even if I sometimes forget to adjust the focus.
Best wishes, Kris. _________________ Kris Lockyear

I think (from memory) it's the Agnar.
And a decent performer by the looks of it. _________________ Casual attendance these days |

Well, I believe it might be Apotar as well as not, and even Solinar.

Martin is correct, it is the Agnar lens with the Pronto shutter. It was the budget version...

What means good photographer and process, people use avoid even from Apotar and hunt Solinar only. I am glad these beauties made with Agnar. _________________ -------------------------------

Often happen with cameras to me also, no significant difference from top model and low budget one. My Ikonta M with Opton-Tessar same good as than with Novar Anastigmat. Rolleiflex 2.8F Planar wasn't much different than lot less cheaper IKOFLEX with Opton-Tessar etc , etc. Post process, scan also help to make them pretty equal. _________________ -------------------------------

Really nice series. I like no. 4 best too.
The palm shot looks oversharpened on my screen. If it's a lab scan you could ask them to go abit easier on the sharpening. _________________ If you have time, please check out my photography blog from Japan. http://monkeybrainsushi.wordpress.com/ |
