Bought this lens in an old used camera shop in Osaka, Japan for just 6,800 yen (approx. US $70). What a bargain! Superb image quality, nice bokeh and great color rendering. All shots are wide open. Smile

The old preset Takumar 200mm is a very good lens for pictorial work and portraits.
Not the sharpest wide open, but as you see, fine bokeh.

Thank you for viewing! Rest assured that the gears had not got wet and neither was my self, thanks to the covered walkway where I was standing to take cover. Very Happy Very Happy

I have added some birds shots at the park nearby after the rain.

Try pp on bird shoots , it will remove darkness, autocolor and contrast should fine. Nice captures worth to improve them.

I am a computer/software idiot! I guess I have to learn how to pp and improve pictures some time. Sad
