I bought this lens recently. It seems fine except the front of the lens is bent making it impossible to use a threaded filter or
lens cap. I need more practice with it, but I am happy with it's performance.

Here are some photos. Comments appreciated. Smile

Does anyone have any idea how to fix the front of this lens, BTW?

I've never needed to try it but there's a thread here:

I have one of these in Altix mount, I liked it on my NEX-3, sharper than the Ludwig Meritar 2.9/50 triplet and had a really nice rendering, well worth having imho.

Pretty sharp for a triplet wide open and has some swirly triplet bokeh going on.

Thanks.
Pretty professional looking. Gives the idea though. I'll see what I can do.

Nice photo! I've seen that one before on another post. The information about this lens on the forum made me attracted to get it.
It is inexpensive, enjoyable to use and the results are not bad. I was also attracted to the swirly bokeh, but I didn't get
it in my photos. I'll have to try some shots wide open.
