my Super-Takumar 135 (non SMC) has a serial number of 4.4 million, so why shouldn't the sucessor lens have sold at least as well? _________________ Eos (A/D) + M42 |

Asahi Pentax first introduced the Takumar 3.5/135 in late 1953 and it existed (in its different incarnations) through to the end of the screw mount period in 1975. Actually, it remained in production to 1977 and beyond in the bayonet lens series! _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |
