The Pentax Q has a 5.6x crop factor so 105mm = 588mm ( full frame eqiv.) !

I have this lens and recently cleaned out the glass inside near the aperture, your pictures show what the lens can do, especially the cat picture, oh how crisp and clear! I should give my copy a try...

I love how it looks on the pentax Q, Laughing

Love the cat picture. It look so healthy.
It's nice and sharp, I can even see what looks like a light setup in it's eyes.

I think about to take Q, did you play with 8mm cine lenses on Q ?

I was wondering about that Pentax Q myself (or a Nikon V1) to use older 8mm lenses (have a fine f0.9/13mm SWITAR).

thx for replies
dust is the bad side of this lens.
the rear group elements are open and not closed like in other lenses
and for that reason dust comes easily inside Sad

That is not too bad, sign of lens inside can get some fresh air and if need to clean due got fungus , possible.
I like much less latest lenses where manufacturers glued brain less and hard or impossible to clean ..
