Not worth it, lot of hassle, usable only in a few cameras and not significantly less cost to manufactures than 120 film I think which is universally usable in every camera.

I quite don't know, they say it's for orders in August but maybe there is only limited stock..

oh I see now, eshop only for CZ+SK. maybe some resellers then? I cannot recommend as I don't shoot Foma films..

You must think the other way around, the film is offered for the people owning such a camera. It is not an offer to build yourself a camera around the film. If you already have a 70 mm back than you don't care it is not usable in your other cameras, you are happy you can feed this back with film.
Industrial production is cheap, no matter in which industry. Expensive is the distribution.
I think producing 300 m of 120 film and 300 m of 70 mm film is almost the same. But distributing 300 m film in a single roll of 70mm is definitively cheaper than distributing 120 film in 250 separate rolls. |
