Does that KMZ Russar MP-2 f5.6/20mm in M42 thread mount version exist?

I think I have always only seen it in LTM, or for rangefinders anyway.

Yes, this version I know very well, but I wondered about other mounts.
It would have to be modified to allow for that longer register.

It's impossible. Front lens must be deep inside the mirror box.

It's a non-retrofocus design so it has to sit quite close to the film plane. I don't think modification is possible.

Well, it would be possible as Nikon did it with their 2.1cm Nikkor-O biogon type, but it would require mirror lock up and a custom mount.

36.68mm from the front lens to film plane. Flange focal distance of M42 cameras - 45.5mm, so front lens of Russar must be 8.82mm deeper.
