This is a Goyo lens branded Spiratone. Goyo is the seller's claim, but there is substantiation here:

This is a really spectacular lens, especially given the versatility imparted by its YS mount!!

Click here to see on Ebay

Is anyone actually fortunate enough to own one of these!!!?

Made by Sun, Goyo wasn't founded until 1976, Sun was absorbed into Goyo sometime in the late 80s.

Very poor IQ until closed to f2.8 - CA, softness, halos, coma. Might appeal to some but to me, it's crap and you might as well use a 2.8/135.

I have this lens , nice even wide open if you can't afford 1000 USD for Carl Zeiss 135mm f2.0 this is a serious alternative especially if you have top camera like A7

this is wo on Nx11, strong summer light

I don't think this Spiratone one is the Sigma lens,it looks like the Sun one:

Agreed, iangreenhalgh1. I acknowledge the YS mount is suggestive of Sigma, but the subject lens smells to me like Goyo, or Sun if you prefer depending on year of manufacture. I do not know year of manufacture for this lens.

Camerapedia lists Goyo, but I'm not certain that's authoritative. People too often run takeovers together, as for example when an obviously Konica lens is (in my view, wrongly and erroneously) given the Minolta appellation.

Anyway, I'm betting the lens is Goyo or Sun, rather than Sigma.

Sun, Goyo never made SLR lenses, they make industrial and CCTV optics. The merger was long after this lens was made.
