A friend brought this lens to me, Nikon mount, bad overall condition, my thought was to test this lens when I realized
The manual focus is not moving the distance gauge on the lens itself, when rotated in an effort to focus.

Before removing a single screw and trying to look inside, I am asking for suggestions or insights from experience
