comes also under Access and Soligor brands. and it might be made by Kino (according to Soligor serial numbers).

Looks very nice indeed. Rich colors and good contrast, pleasant background rendering and, apparently, good sharpness.

what i don't like about this lens is ergonomics. it has aperture ring, macro ring and focal range ring all side by side and indistinguishable without looking at the lens, this copy was also in canon FD mount so there was 4th ring there for the mount lock that also felt the same to the touch and was easy to turn the wrong ring. couple of times i ended up with the lens in my hand separated from the adapter.

More probably Kobori (Tefnon). I loved it also. So much to play with. This is nice stub: http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Kobori

all soligor 35-70mm/2.5-3.5 lenses i've found on ebay that look exactly the same as this unitor lens have serials that start with 979, and looking at the threads here discussing soligor numbers in most of them 9 is for Kino , except your thread that claims kobori origin. which one is correct i don't know

Is it this lens you have tested? The one on the pic is mine, not really used it yet, just some quick shots, and i was pleasantly surprised with the results that it gave me! I really must use it on a day out to give it a good try!
As you can see it is the Soligor version with 979 number on it, it's Minolta MD mount.

True i am quite a Kobori believer Smile. Nevertheless not the only one: http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic.php?t=35443
Usually it's easier to find it under ACCESS-P brand name tightly connected with TEFNON. But quick search
revealed few original TEFNON lenses and even info leaflet.

I accidentally found some lovely analog shots here: http://blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=koolapple&logNo=80101622443
and cool Soligor leaflet:
