Surprisingly the sun came out late today, a perfect reason to take a few shots with the Kodak Ektar f2 63mm that I got, mainly shot wide open.

Thanks guys.

Suat, those flare images were specifically made this way, as I liked the sun rays and the pictorial effect is has. It is not a lens flaw, just using that effect this lens can do.

I didn't say flare as flaw. and I love your way to show what lens can do. not only one kind of shot.

Sure, it was just an explanation I wanted to give...

It allows a were "painterly" way of working with light...

and especially colors...

Looks like a good lens, is it Thorium-made like the Aero-Ektar?

I have a feeling it might me Orio as it looks like
they used highly refractive glass, that in the 50ies
was thoriated.
